Possessing an impressive sales growth record over the past 20 years, this Australian owned national business is a leading manufacturer and distributor of data and audio visual communications products and customised solutions. Combining its own design and manufacturing capability with distributi on franchises for leading brands in cable, networking and wireless, the company offers comprehensive connectivity solutions across telecommunications, industrial IT and communications, broadcast and building services markets.
It now offers a terrific opportunity for a motivated, professional and self managing Sales Representative with existing strong relationships with electrical/datacoms wholesalers and trade contractors, to grow its business in the region. You will focus on strategically developing the wholesaler base to maximise market penetration, while building credibility and support with the region’s leading electrical/datacoms trade contractors. Calling on building sites and asking open ended questions is an integral part of your business development activities.
Ideally you will have well developed product knowledge of copper and fibre optic cables and associated connectivity products and their market applications. You can demonstrate that your record of successful business development and account management in the wholesaler and contractor channels is based on your energetic sales style, disciplined call cycle planning and execution, and your outstanding customer service ethic. You must also have sound computer skills and demonstrate your experience with and willingness to use an electronic CRM database to maximum effect.
